Which side are you fighting from?

Have you wondered why you still have so many battles in your life even though you serve God faithfully? Did you think your life struggle was over when you gave your life to Christ? Did you think your sickness be gone, and your heartaches will mend? Why are you continually have troubles in life? Are these troubles ever end?

Everyone wishes the same. Nobody likes life issues and heartaches. The fact is God never promised that you wouldn’t have any problem. You don’t like uncomfortable, pains, and ongoing struggles. It’s understandable wishful thinking. What the bible says is quite the opposite.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 NIV

Jesus promised to be with you until the end instead.

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. – Matthew 28:20 NIV

Although you will have the same troubles as before you gave your life to Christ, it’s absolutely a different story in the spiritual realm. The bible calls you “More than a conqueror.” That has nothing to do with how you feel about your life or yourself. It’s a declaration that you receive in Christ. It’s not because you are strong, but who He lives in you is the victorious one. The question is…

Which side are you fighting from?

God always stays on the winning side. But it doesn’t mean you do. You must choose which side you want to stay on and fight from. Is the winning side or the defeated side? It’ll make a difference in your spiritual freedom by which side you will make your foot stand.

You must learn to fight from the winning side.

So how do you fight from the winning side?

1. You already overcame the world with Christ

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. – 1 John 5:4 NIV

You are an overcomer! You may not see it or feel it right now. But what you see in the natural will catch up with what’s in spiritual. Just believe.

2. God, the Mighty one is with you

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

 “All who rage against you
    will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
    will be as nothing and perish.
Though you search for your enemies,
    you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
    will be as nothing at all.
For I am the Lord your God
    who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
    I will help you.– Isaiah 41:10-13 NIV

If God promised you to help you, He will! He is with you and protecting you.

3. God, Himself is fighting for you

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. – Exodus 14:14 NIV

The Lord is fighting on your behalf. There is no one stronger than your God. Just believe that you already conquered your troubles, and watch God winning!
