Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #28 – Always be ready

God, Bible, Jesus, Holy Spirit, FearHave you ever being caught an unexpected inspection of any kind? If you knew “that” was coming, I’m sure you were quite ready to go through any inspection. There’s nothing irritating more than taking a test, an exam, or an inspection without any preparation. You don’t want to show any mistake or low quality of your work to any teacher or inspector.

Only the time you have to be afraid of whoever that coming to check on you is when you are not ready to face the inspection. Really, if you are always ready to show anything you are doing, there’s no need to be afraid of anyone to show up at your front door. Continue reading “Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #28 – Always be ready”

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #27 – Progressive healing

God, Jesus, Healer, Faith

Do you like to suffer for a long time? I’m sure you don’t. None of us do. We love a quick fix, deliver, and heal. But sometimes, somethings in your life take time to be healed. And they take a step at a time. Even if God allows you to be healed progressively, it’s still a miracle of God. God has HIs own ways to bring healing in every person’s life. Don’t let your impatience discourage your faith. This is how Jesus healed a blind man.

Jesus and his followers came to Bethsaida. Some people brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch the man. So Jesus held the blind man’s hand and led him out of the village. Then he spit on the man’s eyes. He laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see now?”

The man looked up and said, “Yes, I see people. They look like trees walking around.”

Again Jesus laid his hands on the man’s eyes, and the man opened them wide. His eyes were healed, and he was able to see everything clearly. Jesus told him to go home. He said, “Don’t go into the town.” – Mark 8:22-26 ERV

Jesus took 3 steps to healed a blind man.

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #26 – Show up on your Life

Life, God, Fear, Jesus, Love

Do you know some people never show up on their own lives? Are you one of those people? Yes, sometimes, life is hard. Painful things happen. But you have only one life that God allow you to live. Life is a gift from God for you to enjoy. And your life is given to enjoy the relationship with your creator.

What does it mean to show up on the one life that you are given? There are a few questions you need to ask yourself.

Are you living the life purpose that God has given you?

Are you enjoying your life as Jesus wants? John 10:10 ERV says,

A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came to give life—life that is full and good.

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip # 25 – The one phrase that divides believes’ lives

God, Jesus, Faith, Believe, Life

God has plans for every human being. There’s not even one person without a purpose for life. First, there are two groups in mankind. One is who believes God. And the other is who doesn’t. Maybe some people want to make more groups in between, but really, there are only two groups. Either you believe the creator or you don’t.

Now, within the group of believers, there are another 2 groups. One is who believes the plan of God on their lives come to pass, and the other group is already giving up on their lives before it happens. It’s not that they don’t believe God, but they don’t find what God says can really happen to their lives.

If you are a believer, which group do you belong to? Continue reading “Coach Shine’s Mini Tip # 25 – The one phrase that divides believes’ lives”

Coach Shine’s Mini Tips #24 – Have you planted the seed?

Seed, Word, God, Jesus, Bible

Have you planted the seed? Your life is like a garden. You won’t see anything grow in it if you don’t plant the seed. God has an excellent plan for your life. But just like God put Adam into work at the garden, cultivate it, and plant the seed, you have a responsibility to plant the seed in your life.

The bible talks about the seed so many times, and the Kingdom of God always begins with a seed. Every miracle happened with a small thing. God doesn’t ask you to plant something big. But He wants you to plant something tiny as a seed to make your life blessed.

There are 3 elements to make seed to grow.

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #23 – Be like Jacob

Do you want to have what you want for your life?

I’m sure you do…

God, Jesus, Bible, Wrestle, Life, MinistryJacob was a deceiver. He stole something so valuable from his brother Esau twice! The first one was Esau’s birthright with a bowl of soup when Esau was hungry. The second was a blessing from Esau with a bowl of stew, again, for his father, Isaac.

What he did may not be honorable, but I want you to sense his determination. Jacob was a supplanter. Do you know what “supplant” means? Continue reading “Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #23 – Be like Jacob”

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #22 – Feed your faith, not the fear

Do you know how many times the bible says, “Do not be afraid?” 365 times! That’s one for each day. This is a scary time for everyone. Because you are a Christian with great faith, it doesn’t mean you have no concerns for many things at the moment. No one knows everything and tells you what is happening and what’s going to happen.

We all need to be informed. That’s for sure. But if you are sitting with news reports all day, STOP! Yes, Coronavirus is the real threat. But you could be doing so much more during this time while you are staying home with your children, spouse, or catching up with home stuff that you are behind with. Stop listening to the news now, if you already have heard today’s update. Stop keep feeding your fear!  Continue reading “Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #22 – Feed your faith, not the fear”

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #21 – Unchangeable things

Don’t let the unchangeable things in your life stop you from living your life!

There are things in your life that absolutely unchangeable. No matter how you don’t like it. No matter how you wish, you could exchange it. They can’t be removed from your life. But sometimes they can stop you from living your own life. They can even keep you from being who you are meant to be. Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #20 – What’s the next step?

photo of woman walking barefoot on seashore

Christian life and ministry life can go in the perfect plan in your head is only in your head. God gives you His promises for your life and ministry. But He never gives you from step 1 to step 10 direction. That would be nice if He did, wouldn’t it?

So your limited brain will plan or imagine “How it should work.” The ideas and plans you think are logical, reasonable, and somewhat perfect. But God. God’s plans and ways are not always like what you think. Or maybe I should say most of the time… Sometimes, it’s not the wrong idea or plan, but timing is wrong. It’s disappointing when your plan fails… Then you will think,

“Maybe I didn’t hear God… It was my own idea…”

“I messed it up. I lost it.”

See, I thought it was too good to be true for my life…”

Hold on before you make your assumptions!

Coach Shine’s Mini Tip #19 – Got the Glasses?

God loves everyone, whether you are a believer or not. And somethings in life are given to everybody equally by God. Matthew 5:45 NIV says,

“He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”

At the same token, good and bad things happen to everyone. I’m sorry if you want to believe only good things will happen to those who serve God, but that’s not the reality. Bad things can happen to good people. God doesn’t pick only non-believers to experience death, disappointments, accidents, family issues, financial issues, abuse, and such. The same things could happen to anybody, even if you served God for 40 years of your life.

So what does it make a difference between believers and non-believers?
